I picked these stone veneers as they were neutral colored. I went back and painted a light white over the veneers and sponged the paint in. Added a wood frame and indirect lighting. Love the wall and am so happy with the overall look. I ordered 16 veneers in all so four packages. I laid them all out on the floor first to get a pattern that flowed. The veneers don’t all lay flat so I used a wood frame behind them and attached them to the frame with Brad nails. Easy to attach to frame and with the nails and you can pull them off and adjust if need be. Very easy to work with. I even had to cut 5” off the bottom row and super easy to cut with jigsaw. It's important to note that with this design, the center square goes above the ceiling grid vs. sitting below it, so this is perfect for my application as the basement in my home is quite low in some areas where there is duct work, allowing me to optimize head space versus other designs that droop below the ceiling grid. Keep in mind you may have issues with delivery as I had several times due to damaged edges, but Wayfair had solved the issue promptly and sent me replacement tiles free of charge. Vincent. No. But it is extremely helpful. These are things I was ready for, but some other buyers might not be ready for. This is an RF controlling device. While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. Less devices in the landfill for replacements, and a pretty great way to control my devices from my phone. These panels are exactly what I was looking for. I have a massage office that has a drop ceiling, so it’s quite noisy beyond the walls. I wanted to do as much soundproofing as possible and these are a great start. I’ve ordered two sets in different patterns and they do help muffle some sound, especially the sound from my office to the outside, which is helpful for client privacy. My office is located in a busy sports club and close to the locker rooms so these aren’t completely correcting the problem of outside noise, but I anticipate for most other situations they would greatly reduce it. Hes a typical PVC drop ceiling tiles. I will not be using them in that manner as Im going to mount them directly to the ceiling with the wood trim.
