It is recommended that you wait 24 hours to turn your unit on after it arrives. I went against that recommendation because it was absolutely sweltering in my studio space that had nothing but a fan. I purchased two of these bad boys to cover 1030 ft.² of open space with 18ft ceilings. I met FedEx AT THE DOOR! And they brought them in for me and set each unit at each window I wanted them to be placed. So delivery was smooth and easy. The installation instructions were easy to understand and the units took no more than 10 minutes each to be installed. NOTE: you will need some weather tape to seal off some gaps, but that’s to be expected. It was likely about 90° in my space before I turned them on and these had me feeling much cooler and more comfortable within about 30 minutes (run on medium at 68°) and after about an hour and a half, I didn’t feel the need to run them on medium anymore. They’re pretty quiet on the low fan cool setting, but of course they are louder on medium and high but nothing that will disturb my peace in my studio. having a window AC unit is not the prettiest thing so I can’t speak to aesthetics but I’m very happy with these —my problem has been solved.. The unit is heavy. Remove the plastic and nylon straps immediately upon delivery and lift the box off. It has to sit upright, outside the box for 24 hrs to protect the compressor. I used the time to read the manual set up the window exhaust and drain. The drain is at the of the unit. Whether you run the drain line out a window, into an existing drain, or into a bucket, the line must be installed below the unit. I had a sturdy end table to put it on. Fixed the exhaust through a window and set a 5 gallon bucket under the table for the drain line because I didn’t want to put a hole in my window screen. I powered it on and the lid popped open and immediately started blowing cool air in my face! I love it! Great when the central air goes out or to further cool areas far from the central AC unit.. This is NOT an off brand adjustable bed frame, it’s made by Mlily who make quality bed frames. It uses two whisper quiet lift motors, a name brand controller module, four earth shaking vibration motors and a heavy duty frame. We purchased two king bed frames and both had FOUR position legs(3” each) and a LIGHTED remote control(see images). You will easily pay twice the price for a comparable bed frame anywhere else with the same features. My wife and I(58 and 60yo) were able to separate the two king bed frame sections at the three hinge points with a metric ratchet and wrench and unplug three quick disconnects in order to half the weight to 100lbs each and bring them up a flight of stairs, then reconnect everything on the second floor, this process saved our backs and cost us an extra fifteen minutes tops. Installation was super simple and the remote was already paired to the frame. I gave this four stars because it arrived in a smashed box and the mount and arm were not attached. It took a while to put them together. This bed is amazing. I total life saver. After spending a month in the hospital and close to 3 in a physical rehabilitation center, I needed a shorter bed that was adjustable. I feel in love with this bed before I even ordered it. I just knew it was the one. I went from adjustable queen from another company that I needed a step stool to get into. To an xl twin happily with some elastic sheet straps my beloved snoopy sheets fit on my bed and if I have company I can my extra pillows and turn it into a day bed type side so we can watch tv.
