It took about two hours to put together, and this is definitely a two-person job. There are quite a few slats that need to be installed, so be prepared to spend some time assembling it. I purchased a cal king reversible down alternative comforter for an insert to my duvet cover for a guest bed. I wanted it to be white and not too heavy. It came packaged in a nice cloth sack and has two pillows cases that zip up on the ends. It fit well in the duvet cover. Impressed with how well it was packaged.
