I’ve had my umbrella opened since I installed it and we’ve had rain and wind for the past week and this umbrella has not wavered or moved an inch! I’m in the process of finding a new outdoor table with an umbrella hole, and I have no worries that this base will keep the umbrella steady. I like the fact that it come with several hole adjustments for various size poles. I had to use the 1.5 inch hole tube. Update, have a new table with the umbrella hole. Absolutely no issues with stability. It’s been a very windy spring, up to 20 mph winds and this umbrella has not moved at all! I absolutely love the low and sleek profile of the base.. Lisa.
