Lamp arrived undamaged. Packaging was a mess! I had to take it to the laundry room to unbox because there were little pieces of styrofoam everywhere! Lamp comes in 3 different pieces. I had to giggle when i saw the gloves included. Easy to put together and the lamp is alot lighter than I thought it would be. From the picture on wayfair, the Lamp shade looked to be a tan color. My shade is like a dark charcoal color. When turned on it does look tan. So just know if you are matching this Lamp to a brown or tan theme in your house...it will be dark...almost black color when off. And maybe they come in 2 different colors and they sent me the black color. For me that is a win win because my livingroom is black and brown. The shade is lightweight but sturdy hard plastic. This lamp is stunning! I love these Tiffany style lamps. They are so beautiful and put off such a pretty light. Packaging was so easy to take out. It took me less than five minutes to take everything out and another two minutes to put it together! Super easy! This one even included the bulbs with it! As you can see, it takes two bulbs. With this size lamp, if you put it high up, you’ll be able to see the two bulbs underneath, so I like to put it on a lower table. Also, I took pictures throughout the day so you can see the different colors throughout. It’s a little more yellow in the pictures than it is in person. It’s gorgeous! If I had anything to say that I don’t love is the base. It is painted brown. I do prefer the metal bases on these with the bronze look but it still works with my decor. I love it! Shipping was fast! Even when it’s off, it serves as a striking decorative piece thanks to the rich color variation in the glass. The packaging was excellent, which is crucial for something this delicate. Everything arrived perfectly intact, with plenty of protective material to prevent damage. As for downsides, the lamp base feels slightly lighter than expected Its resin, and it’s beautiful, but I think it could be a bit heavier to match the quality of the shade. Also, the switch is positioned a little lower on the cord, which makes it inconvenient if your table is against a wall. You’ll either need to leave extra cord accessible or reach or pull the cord up from behind the furniture. A switched outlet can easily solve this though! All in all, once I found the right placement for it, I was completely happy with the lamp. I keep a bit of extra cord on my dresser so the switch is easy to access, discreetly tucked behind a jewelry box. It’s also sitting on a solid, sturdy piece of furniture, which gives me peace of mind that the lighter base won’t be an issue if it’s ever lightly bumped or moved. I chose the 17-in high Tiffany styled jeweled peacock table lamp by Bloomsbury market for my bedroom. I really like the style of this and I am enjoying the dark pewter colors. The color glass seems to be embedded in a lead, or pewter frame. The light blue jeweled embellishments look beautiful and I really like how it keeps the light subdued. Nice looking small lamp for a small mantel I had. Need a bulb < 3.3inches in total length to fit. Felt wire cover on bottom of lamp not very sturdy.
