It was easy to sweep most of it up and the hand-held vacuum cleaner did the rest. The only problem I experienced was with the shipment. Super happy with this. Was using one of those litter boxes that look like a pot with a plant in it. Plastic got scratched and it started holding on to odors and dirt. I love how open it is. I kind of wish this one came with the step. Im not sure if the cats would use it, though. I already have one, and it has the front opening. My cats are both good size. This ones a little bit easier. I think for cats to go in and out of. Im not sure how long the bottom piece will last as it seems to be more material than hard plastic. I have had this now for about a month and I love it. I plan on getting another one and replacing the other one as they use this one most often. The other is the typical small opening and the waste draw is small and always needs to be adjusted as nothing falls forward and I can't find the right size bags, no company to order supplies from.. The side opening is a bit larger than necessary so my cat still ends up spreading litter on the outside when she exits. Also, I wish it came in more colors (I'll probably end up painting it).
