The 4" length is just right for a decent hand grip without squishing my hands and it will be perfect for the new French closet doors I am installing. The products are solidly made. The reason I deducted one star is because I ordered bar pulls and knobs from same manufacturer for different sizes of drawers. Even I ordered same finish, honey bronze. they came out with different color tunes. It is even more obvious after installed.
