About five minutes into putting this mattress protector on the bed my toddler split food on it. Thankfully, it wiped off easily with no damage to the mattress below. I don’t know how clear it is from the photo, but the sides are mesh- making it perfect for toddler jumps. As for the sound, it’s minimal. This bed is perfect. I have a lot of health issues and my body hurts a lot but laying in this bed I don’t hurt as bad. It takes away most of the pain so this is a must have to have bed.
