I also don't understand why the top is divided into 4 pieces as it makes the even alignment of the edges more difficult (you can see the edges in the photo attached). It's not as if the 4 pieces vs 1 single piece makes the box lighter or easier to turn the table on its legs once assembly is finished. For the price, this was great. I like the color. It's sturdy. It didn't take too long to put together. I need to get an under desk organizer to hide the cords (and excuse the mess on the desk), but you can see from the photos how it looks in my space. It took 1-2 hours to put together; I used a drill for several parts of it even though it did not recommend doing that. This is a good looking table but 4 stars because the top of the table is 2 pieces and the wood design doesn’t match (see pictures). The top 2 drawers do not have the side mount drawer slides instead they glide on metal side rails and they are slightly smaller than the space, you can move them left and right but they don’t come off the metal rail.
