Expensive but fits my Elkay sink beautifully. However, my Oxo sink strainerdrain cover doesnt fit through the hole in this grid, so I have to either lift up the grid every time I want to moveremove the strainer or clean it OR put the strainer on top of the grid. The latter case would be fine generally but a small item could slip through the 1-inch space between grid and sink drain and fall into my garbage disposal. Also, I got the Oxo because it doesnt rust, can go in the dishwasher, and its great at dampening the loud noise from the disposer, the strainer has to sit directly into the drain hole. It just doesnt work if its sitting on TOP of the hole in the grid. Now Ill have to buy a 35 Elkay sink strainer too, I guess, or get a cheaper one that will break and rust in a short time.
Another issue is that the black rubber protectors at the grid corners (8 protectors total) are very pliablesoft and have slits on them (rather than being solid), so they easily fall off. Had to reach into disposer several times to retrieve one (or more) because they popped off when I used my sink sprayer or bumped them when wipingcleaning the grid. The fit of these corners is far too loose and the material theyre made of is much too flexible. A spray of water or light touch shouldnt knock the darned things off!!. LG.
