I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. I purchased this and another blower from the same company. I used this 2HP blower for a larger bouncy castle I have set up. I saw other similar products but these looked a little more professionally made to me. (Brighter colors, easy to carry handle, etc) Also came with great instructions and even had troubleshooting if you ran into problems. I have been using this for 2 weeks in the Texas heat, and it even rained and I haven't run into any issues. Also the color is bright. You will love this vent. It's well built and works perfectly. I was initially worried about the size because my old vent measured 22 inches, and the only replacement I could find was this 21-inch version. My plan was to return it if it didn't fit. I have a round brick opening, and I was wondering how I would fill a 1-inch gap around the new vent after installation. When I went to remove the old vent from outside while on a ladder, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was only held in place with finish nails. It also had a round wooden frame attached around the outer edge that fit against the brick. I pushed the old vent into the wall cavity, and the new vent fit perfectly over the existing brick molding. After making sure it was level, I nailed it in place, applied caulk, touched up the paint, and the job was done. Yes, I did have to leave the old vent inside the wall cavity, but it wasn't causing any issues and saved me from having to remove additional material. Overall, the installation was much easier than expected, and the vent looks and works great. Highly recommended.cavity which I didn't like,but was not tearing off the brick molding to retrieve it..
