I ordered the slate gray and they are definitely not gray if you're really looking for that color. They are a nice color of pale blue (see photos) and the sheets are soft and appear to be good quality. They had a strong odor upon opening the box but once washed they are fine. These are nice sheets, they are definitely feeling as if they are 100 cotton. These are nice and lightweight sheets. They do seem a little in the thinthread bear side. Before I washed these sheets they felt softer. Almost like they might be a brushed cotton. Or Sateen. Now the sheets feel stiffer and crisp. Which isn’t a bad thing. Nice crisp cotton sheets that hold up well in the washer and dryer. Haven't had any issues with them shrinking either. The sizing is generous and I've had no problems fitting these onto my mattress. I really love the pattern and quality. These sheets even allow my skin to breathe better. I've always preferred a more crisp sheet than to a soft. These are definitely nothing like a cheap cotton set either, the quality is impressive. They're well worth every penny I spent purchasing them and honestly a great value for the money.
