Whoever said this mattress was soft, fight me, because y’all lied. The bed did fully inflate within the recommended 72 hours. It probably would have been ready around 24 hours, but we followed the directions and let it sit the full 72. It also had no smell, which was a plus. Oh I am in love with my new mattress. I haven’t wanted to get out of bed. This is truly a memory foam bed, like seriously when you lay on it, it really forms to your body. This mattress has truly been a great lifesaver for our back pain. My husband has a herniated disc and requires a very firm mattress. This did take a full 48 hours to completely get to its firmness, so don’t be discouraged after it compresses on the first day. He reports that his back pain has improved greatly, and I would strongly suggest this bed for those experiencing spinal issues. I am also sleeping with my baby and follow the safe seven sleep method which requires a very firm mattress. This mattress falls into the guidelines for safe co sleeping, and I’m ecstatic to find one in a great price point. We highly recommend this mattress. Updated review. I unfortunately have to remove one star as as I was waiting for the bed to expand. I realize that it was not expanding lengthwise. There are about 3 to 4 inches missing off the top and or bottom of the mattress. I purchased my bedframe off of Wayfair and the measurements are for 18 size bed.
