This is a great futon style mattress. The frame is not included and I did not buy a frame for it but it comes with the slots so a frame can easily slide through the cover. I bought it soecifi to slide u set the bed and pull out for when my daughter had sleep overs so her friends can sleep on it and it works perfect for that. I recently had to use it to when we had family stay in town. I like that it fits my fitted sheets and it’s pretty comfortable to sleep. My daughter likes that she can use it as a couch in her room. This sleeping mat is actually pretty comfortable. The foam is dense enough to add a good amount of support without being too hard. It has a nice anti-slip bottom so it stays in place. It is a little bulky when folded up but I still plan on using it for camping. We have a few foam camping beds that I paid a significant amount of money for and I have a feeling that this will be the bed everyone fights over when we camp. This is a really great sleeper chair or mattress! I have family members who visit and bring their yound kids, and it's perfect for putting on the floor so the kids can stay in the room with their parents. It sits pretty low to the ground but can be folded several ways to make it into a loveseat, sleeper chair, sofa bed or put on a futon as the mattress. It's very soft and comfortable to lay on so would be great to use even if you wanted to bring it to sleep on when you go camping! These are amazing. We have used them for camping and they’re incredible. Right now they’re in my living room being used as “furniture” while we wait for a new couch to arrive . Comfortable and exactly what I was looking for. I was able to trim the size of the mattress to fit the slightly odd size of the bed space in my camper and the cover hides the adjustment.
