I’m very impressed with this floating console. I actually used it as a fireplace mantel, and it worked perfectly for what I had in mind. It feels very sturdy and well built, and the finish looks elegant and much more expensive than I expected. Installation was straightforward, and once mounted, it feels solid and secure. These are the nicest shelves I have ever purchased. They are designed so well that they seem custom built. I originally bought this shelf to use in the bathroom but it projects pretty far from the wall and I didnt want to bump onto it. Fortunately we had the perfect area for it- above a bench in the entryway. It has a lot of area to store things on top of the deep shelf (hats, gloves, etc.) and hooks for jackets, purses, umbrellas. Product arrived with several chips and damages to different pieces. No instructions were included with the piece and customer support via telephone was incredibly unhelpful with processing getting a new guide. The “assembly guide” online is just a certificate stating what the product is made from, not a real guide. Wayfair should demand better of itself than to ship broken pieces with incomplete inventory.
