Would have been excellent had I measured correctly. I chose the 16x18 and need a 16x20 or 16x22. The harder you pull the corner cables in a diagonal direction, the more the sail cinches along the edges like a drawstring and the more the sail sags in the center. For the sail to be fully taut when hanging, it either needs to be within a foot or so to the post you’re securing it to or the line of pull needs to be perfectly aligned with the edges of the sail. I did leave it hanging like a curtain for a couple days when I realized there was no way I was going to get to hang properly. It absolutely does its job at shading and cooling an area significantly. Highly recommend. Just make sure to accurately measure and to not forget that measuring horizontally along the ground will underestimate the actual distance between the two attachment points if one is significantly higher than the other.. I was happy to find these shades for our patio. Hadn't had much luck except to order custom made at three times the price! I wish these were offered in shorter lengths....96 x 96 is 3 feet longer than the openings on my patio, but we can unroll them to the floor at almost 8 feet, or just leave them at the top of our brick wall and have extra fabric on the roll. This roll-up vinyl shade features quarter-inch slats that softly filter light while also offering privacy. The cordless operation makes them safe around children and pets. Included strap fasteners make rolling the shade to any desired height easy, simply connect one end of the fastener to the front of the blind, roll up the end of the blind to the desired height, then wrap the fastener around the roll and clip to secure.
