I will say the final product is beautiful, feels sturdy but won’t really know until, I use it more. I won’t lie, it was a mission to be built. I originally booked someone to build it, but my delivery didn’t come together as expected and one part was delivered late and I still had to pay for the build but couldn’t get it built and neeeded to do it myself. If you have 4-6 capable humans, you can get it done in 6-8 hours but I did it with 2 and it took 2 days and a half days. The half day, was because we had to peel the plastic off the roof pieces and they were stuck on due to the heat from transporting this item to me. I will say be very careful during that process we had a lot of cuts on our hands and legs from this process, it was unnecessarily dangerous. We got the frame up in one day, the roof in the other and then the nets and curtain. We added a fan but there isn’t really a structure to run the wiring for the fan, like hooks or anything, to bring it down to the Elric which was disappointing. We do love the color, and love the double nets, but can’t describe the logevitubof the final product as we’ve only had it up a week. We thing we like is at the top of the roof, there are bug guards in the vents of the roof to prevent bugs coming in, which I’ve seen others that don’t have this. He is smart and experienced. He thinks you'd be ok if you have built one of these before, but even if you are very handy, the instructions are written by somebody who has never built anything. Im somewhere between 4 and 5 on this. The packaging is horrible so many parts were damaged. Wayfair gets a 5 out of 5 for getting replacements ordered for me quickly. The replacements were packed just as poorly so some got damaged as well but they sent extras so it was not a problem. Sent from the manufacturer so none of that is Wayfairs fault. Instructions were just okay. Not always super clear. Some bolts really wanted to cross thread. Im happy with the look and function. Its not going to keep every drop of water out in a storm but itll do an adequate job. It could be a little sturdier but I dont think you can find better for the price. Im telling everyone about Wayfair customer service. I expected to have to contact the manufacturer myself and be lucky to get a response. It is beautiful, but hard to build, a lot of screws, which take an Alan wrench, all that could have been avoided with the use of buttons that click into place, but the worst part is the Curtains, the directions do not tell you how to put the curtains up, it took four times, with trial and error to figure out how to hang the curtains, if you buy one, you will know what I mean. But when it is built, it is so pretty, and cool inside, the neighbors have stopped speaking. That is when you know you have done good Just a tip, the heavy drapes go on the big bar with the tie strings in the outside, so you can tie the onto the poles with the seam Aligning with each pole The mosquito netting hangs on those smaller curtain rods, which angle out the wrong way to someone that doesn’t know what’s going on, I can zip them and place them on the small skinny curtain rods, making sure that the ties are facing toward the pole that ties them to the pole, And unzip them as you go, that’s pretty much it. This gazebo is fantastic. It took my husband and a friend about 5 days to put it together. They worked about 5 hours every and the last day was just getting the fit on the patio and drilling the holes into the concrete to get it set and then hanging the screens and curtains. They did a great job and my husband followed the instructions fairly easy, as he was in construction and used to reading drawings, so it wasn't hard for him. Everything went together as it should have. I think one screw hole was out of alignment, so he made a new one. Other than that he had no problems putting it together. We love the size of it, its double of what one gazebo normally is. Gives us plenty of space for furniture and a fire table, and still room to add an eating table which I have not purchased yet. We love its wind resistance too. We get some crazy winds in the desert, sometimes 60+ mph, and we've since had just a couple days like that, and we have found it to hold up just great! You do hear a little rattle with that kind of wind, but not much. Its solidly in the ground and the parts are solid, holding together well. Can't beat this gazebo for its sturdiness and beauty. Function is awesome and I know in the summer we'll be able to close the curtains when the sun starts beating in any direction, and screens if the flies show up while eating.
