Very pleased with this composter. It took about 1hr to put together. The instructions were clear and concise. The screws and such were clearly labeled and in separate bags. The cranking and locking mechanism seem to work well. After I assembled it I entirely filled one side and was able to crank and lock without issue. The shipment on this was pretty fast! they had two colors orange or green, I chose the green sorry about the inside pictures, but it had been running this is where I put it together. When the first compartment is full, you start on the second compartment. Once this side is full the first side is ready to empty, and the cycle continues. For larger families that create more compost material, the interior divider between the chambers can be removed to allow the entire composter to be used for single composting. The strongly reinforced barrel is UV protected and contains multiple air vents to promote aerobic decomposition. The large opening and sliding doors allow for the easy addition of waste and collection of ready compost. A unique feature is a gear and handle which ensures easier turning of the drum and the geared ratchet will automatically lock rotation in any position (a feature that is not seen in most compost tumblers at this price point and volume). The frame is powder-coated zinc and its open front design allows for easy access to a collection of ready-to-use compost from the barrel with plenty of room for a compost cart or bucket to slide in underneath. By rotating the door face down you are able to slide the door open and let the compost fall into the cart. The addition of the composting cart is designed for simple extraction of finished composting material and easy transportation to the location you as the customer are looking to use the material. This is the same composting cart that has been in the marketplace since 2017 with close to 100,000 units in the market.

It was out of stock for months and is seriously expensive so I knocked it down a star. At first, when I ordered it they said I wouldn't get it for several more months (we're looking at close to a year wait at this point) but it showed up just a week after my order went through. The composter itself looks sturdy though it's too new to tell for long-term durability. It was easy to put together. I had my heart set on THIS composter, and sadly couldn't find it anywhere else, trust me I looked. I planned to turn it into R2D2. Which I did. The body took the spray paint well.
