This system seems to be working great. There were some instruction issues that could make it a little difficult for the novice DIYer. The most challenging was the fact that it appears that it's a European system and measurements were metric and when they call out a pipe diameter it's OD not ID, easy to get around just a little head scratching at beginning. I put grinder behind wall and ended up uusing sch 35 for extension pipe with standard ferco fittings. I watched several other manufacturers videos to get an idea on install, stayed with standard plumbing codes for venting and drain sizing. This unit has 1 1/2" drain inputs so our standard 2" shower drain needs to be reduced down at some point not code but. I almost went with 1 1/2" shower drain and wish I had but installed shower to a different manufacturer and had finished the shower install before this unit arrived. The other odd thing is the toilet doesn't hold a bowl full of water like our American toilets, but it stays at level of outlet pipe and doesn't siphon any water out of bowl so I think it is installed correctly, still a little different. This is the first up flush system I've installed and seems to work great. Awesome little tank. My Betta loves it. Only negative is that the filter doesn't have a low-med-high setting, and it pushes a lot of water for a Betta, so I put the rain trickle arm on and submerged it under the water line so as not to make the water too oxygenated for the Betta and aimed it at the side of the tank so the glass deflects it. This DeerValley in wall water tank can be used for most of the toilets, no need to worry the compatibility problems. And please note that the straight pipe and the connecting pipe is included in the package, please install the in wall water tank system correctly with the attached installation instructions for better using experience.

I created a master suite for my daughter and son-in-law, and utilized this toilet for it's modern look, and space saving. I have built new homes, and done tons of renovations for years. This was a little challenging, but worth my daughter's huge smile when finished, around the end of January 2025. The water inlet valve stopped functioning on Nov. 10th 2025. We haven’t used it yet, but this portable water heater looks great. It’s a straightforward design and looks pretty easy to use. Simple dials, not digital, which I prefer.
