Have had this for about a month now and has been used heavily with 2-3 bags of trash a day with my large family. The quality is fantastic and I’ve got zero complaints after a month of use. If you’re doing something that has you wanting an open top instead of a pedal it’s super easy to flip the top up into the lock/hold position to keep it open as well as when you change bags and just as easy to flip it back down. This trash can is 4 years old and still works like new. It doesn’t eat a lot of batteries (I have replaced them 3 times in 4 years). I wish it had a plug, but it is not a big issue.
