It definitely is a two person job. We put it together on a paved area before moving it to the grass. It’s sturdy and my favorite part is the door latches my second favorite part is that the roof covers down the sides. Built with thicken rust-resistant metal tubes and secure locking doors, it effectively prevents pets from escaping while shielding dogs from outside disturbances. Reinforced anchoring and additional waterproof covers are ideal for long-term outdoor service.

I can’t rate it for outside, as I am using it for a large indoor kennel for my two small dogs. One of them is an escape artist and I am happy to say with the height and cover he can’t climb up and out. It was easy tool free assembly and is nice and solid. Personally, I’d rather not have the extra little door at the bottom as I don’t use it and think the door might be a bit more solid without it.. Edythe. US. Sat Sep 06 2025

Our coops also feature lockable doors, so you can rest easy knowing that your chickens are safe and secure at all times.

Instructions were very easy to follow. I love this idea and it fits perfectly for where we needed it. I question the durability though. I also am not a fan of the fencing used. It tears easily as it’s not hardware cloth. Any predator could easily get through this. We do plan to reinforce it soon, as winter approaches. If we didn’t have a fully fenced in yard, I would immediately reinforce the fencing. We have 12 chickens right now and they have plenty of space.. Ashley. NY. Wed Sep 02 2026

It was pretty easy to build. I love how long it is. For Bassets I needed a long play area. I plan to plant herb in box planters around the perimeter. Different dog friendly plants and herbs. It will be a sensory thing for them. I did one sections mulch, one artificial turf and the 3rd pavers. While it comes with dog bowl at the door, I plan to attach an automatic water bowl to it.
