This is beautiful and will be an amazing heirloom piece. I have 3 skillets from finex. I cannot recommend this brand enough. The pans are solid and heavy and truly are beautiful. Seasoning and reseasoning is something that I actually like to do to keep them non stick. These pans sit on my stove and they are what we us 95% of the time. Do it! They will last your lifetime and through your children’s lives. The pan comes unseasoned so the color is more bronze, after seasoning they will be black. I recently bought my son a cast iron skillet from Wayfair for his new home in Florida, and it turned out to be a perfect choice. He loves cooking with it—steak, beef, and so many other meals come out delicious. The skillet is the perfect size, and since it arrived pre-seasoned, he was able to start using it right away with no extra work. This skillet heats up very quickly and evenly, it is especially great for meats because it can easily give that golden brown crisp to your food and make it more delicious. It looks so nice that all these non-stick or stainless steel skillets can't even compare with.

So far I love this cast iron skillet! Normally we don't cook any meats in our frying pans because it sticks and smokes and generally turns catastrophic. (Just me? Cool.)
