Remote is one of those extremely cheap button-battery remotes with no indication of function printed on it. You have to guess what the functions are. The multi-function options are so tacky that I'm not sure why they offer them. I intend to stick with white lights. Note: not all of the white lights are the same temperature; some are a little cooler and brighter than others - can't really see it in photos. He knew the difference between the different light bulb styles, his favorite tree (from what he saw on the showroom floor), and set up an account for my company's behalf which offered us a discounted rate. We used this tree for a high end client who needed a thinner tree. As with all trees, I recommend taking the time to fan out the branches, and that makes it look full and nice. I’m very pleased with this tree. I love that it’s under 30 pounds. I’m nearly 60 years old and can no longer haul heavy Christmas decorations by myself. I love the color options. My husband loves the colored lights and I prefer the white lights. This tree offers us both options.
