The package includes all the hardware kits you need to install a sliding barn door. Except for doors. The barn door hardware can be used both inside and outside. It is rustproof, waterproof, and fireproof. The standard door thickness for our hardware is 1 3/8'' to 1 3/4''. If your door thickness is not within that range, please go to our second tab, "Customization Services," for more detailed instructions on how to customize it. The spacing between each hole is American Standard 16''. Tracks 8 feet and under are one single track instead of being connected by multiple shorter tracks. Tracks from 9 feet to 16 feet will be connected by two tracks. Tracks 18 feet and 20 feet will be connected by three tracks. Therefore, the spacing between the holes in the connecting section may not be 16''. Each complete track can hold a door weight of up to 220 lbs. Usually, we recommend the track length to be at least double the total door width or the opening. For example, if you have two doors that are each 30'' wide, You will need 2* (30''+30'') = 120'' long track. Or if you have an opening that is 48'' wide, you will need at least a 96'' long track. The minimum clearance (from the top of the door to the ceiling) you need to install this barn door hardware is 6''.

If you are installing the hardware on a concrete wall, please send Homacer a message asking for bolts specifically for concrete walls. The bypass option is made available on one track. It is never an easy job to install a double-track bypass kit. Sometimes the clearance you have is not enough, sometimes the gap between the two doors is too large, and sometimes it just feels frustrating to put all the pieces together. Now, with our single-track bypass option, installing a bypass kit has never been easier. You can just follow the steps for a standard double-door kit and replace the regular hangers with the bending ones.PLS KINDLY NOTED THAT IT IS SINGLE TRACK BYPASS RATHER THAN DOUBLE TRACKS BYPASS.

We are actually using these for Barn window coverings. It is a project but what an awesome look.. Donna. Newton, TX. Mon Aug 10 2026

SMARTSTANDARD is committed to providing high-quality, customized, and durable Barn Doors to satisfy your home decoration and security needs.

This product is very solid and high quality. Only thing I didn’t like was that the satin nickel rail is 3 pieces for an 8 foot rail. Makes installation more difficult than a one or two piece rail. The other door I purchased used a black rail that was 2 pieces. Other than that the door is solid and easy to assemble but very heavy. I wasn’t expecting it to be so heavy but it is a 48 x 84 solid door so it makes sense. Love having full access to our closet now!. Neal. Billerica, MA. Tue Sep 08 2026
