We just finished assembling this greenhouse and I’ll start by saying — it is very large. Bigger than I expected in the best way. Our plan is to put some furniture inside so we can actually enjoy sitting in it during the colder months, especially here in Ohio, and also extend our growing season for plants and vegetables when it’s too cold outside. It arrives in four very large, very heavy boxes. My husband and I assembled it together, and I strongly recommend organizing all the pieces before you start. There are a lot of parts, and it helps tremendously to get everything sorted out first. One important note: we do not yet have a concrete pad or platform built, so we assembled it directly on the ground. That definitely complicated things because the ground isn’t perfectly level. We had to use shims in several places to get pieces to line up correctly. If you can build a level base first, do it — it will make your life much easier. The instruction manual is extremely long. This is not a quick afternoon project. You absolutely need to be comfortable assembling large, detailed items. My husband and I both have a lot of assembly experience, and it still took us about ten hours. If you’re not experienced with big builds, I would honestly recommend hiring someone. A couple pieces were a little bent, but nothing we couldn’t fix easily. There were a few spots in the instructions that weren’t totally clear — particularly which direction certain metal pieces should face (upside down or backwards wasn’t always obvious). We were able to figure it out as we went, but it did require some problem-solving. I’ve also read elsewhere that the UV panels have a correct direction for installation. The instructions did not mention this at all, so we had to make our best guess and hope orientation doesn’t matter. Clearer guidance there would have been helpful. As far as materials go, the metal frame is high quality and thick. It feels sturdy and well-made. The panels also seem solid. My one concern right now is wind resistance. The listing claims it can handle fairly high winds, but we recently had 30 mph winds and the structure was definitely shaking and lifting slightly. The included stakes are not sufficient in my opinion, so we’ll be upgrading the anchoring system. I do love that there are two doors. Both are heavy duty and glide smoothly, which makes it feel more substantial. It’s currently February with snow on the ground, so we haven’t fully set it up inside yet. I plan to update this review once we have furniture and plants inside and after we see how it performs long-term — especially in stronger winds.
