This residential spreader disperses material in a 20 foot width using an 8.2 inch impellor and contains an agitation system to keep the material moving. A steel rod is used as the linkage for the shut-off function, giving a smooth, solid, on/off to create a consistent flow of material through the hopper. This rod will not bend or bind like a cable and has better longevity. Spreading rates may vary depending on the characteristics of the material in the hopper. The CW1000 comes assembled requiring you to tighten only 1 screw.
