Writing this review 4 years after purchase. Really pleased with this bed rail’s durability. We used it when our daughter graduated from crib to toddler bed. As she grew she often used the rail as if it’s a gymnastics equipment—holding herself up with her hands on both sides of the rail and swinging through the opening. This was bought for our grandson who is 14 months old. Nice looking, easy to assemble with two people working together. Love that it transitions to a toddler bed. Only negative is that we had to lower the springs/frame of the crib as it was too close to the top of the crib in the lowest position which we feared he could go over the top.
