It was finally time to switch out my heavy quilt for my new lighter bedspread. I searched high and low for a split corner bedspread with longer sides and came across this one. It needed to be open to allow for the posters and legs an I wasn’t certain if the corners unbuttoned but, fortunately, they did. It’s perfect and a nice weight with a matching pillow and shams with buttons. I bought two cream throw pillows on this site and matching buttoned linen euro shams elsewhere and I think it looks great. I did wash everything before using and it all washed up great. I chose the Queen size spread in the Slate color. I am very happy with my purchase and it fits very well, not going to use a bed skirt with it. My room is a medium gray color and the Slate goes well, but it does have a bit more blue to the color than shown. So keep that in mind if you are questioning the color of Slate.
