I absolutely love this awning. It’s exactly what I was looking for. It is very well priced and looks very pretty. Sorry for the delayed review, but I did need to hire someone to install it. The assembly and install were a little challenging, even for a master electrician. It wasn't the level of difficulty but rather very vague instructions and more than one incorrect picture. However, we prevailed. Warning: DO NOT remove the tape and zip ties from the arms of the hardware. They are spring-loaded and should not be released until the awning has been hung. Otherwise, it'll be like trying to put a cat in a bucket of water. (we were smart about this) To assemble, have a helper on standby to pull the awning through the roller channel while someone else pushes it. A kid can help with this part. One person can assemble the main hardware. To install the brackets to the home, one person is fine as long as they have the correct drill bits and measure correctly. The brackets are great quality; however, they may not sit flush and level to the wall. We placed 2x2 blocks of wood behind each bracket to fill the empty space and make the install strong and level. To install the awning, you'll want a strong teen or adult to assist. They will need to hold one side of the awning and the hardware while standing on a ladder, as both people insert the hardware into the brackets on the structure.. Anonymous. Fri Aug 28 2026

Exactly what I needed, literally. Same heavy fabric as original awning from same company. Fits frame as original did. Fabric lasts about 4-5 years, so needs replacement. We purchased this in 2022 and it is still going strong in the South FL heat and sun! It was not the easiest to assemble and install because the instructions were horrific, but we searched and found some good YouTube links to help make sense of it ( my husband is very handy, so it was not user error, I’d own up to that if it was )) It has been over our back sliding door porch area and is great for shading that part of the house and keeping it cooler by blocking sun from baking our den all day! The cloth is just now starting to look a little faded and worn in some spots the seam down the middle looks like it may be stretching a little in one spot And part of the white trim on the scalloped edge recently came unsewn and we just cut off that piece.
