I recieved the sun shade and it is made very well. The rings to tie it up are so well attached. I unfolded it and it is so much larger than I anticipated. I cant decide where to hang it, with the amount of trees in my yard I have so many areas to select from. This shade is this k and weather resistant. I love the color. This shade sail is made of a thick but flexible material that should provide just the right amount of protection from the sun without being a total "sunblock" (or completely waterproof) and the reinforced attachment points on the sail seem sufficiently strong. I haven't yet installed it, but the included kit appears to be very comparable to the separate installation kit I ordered just in case the included kit was flimsier or more difficult to use. This particular brand of sail offered a lot of different size options, which is ideal if you are looking for a sail to fit a space with unequal distances between the triangle points. This is a great tarp. The tarp material is water proof and feels heavy duty made a heavy vinyl like material. It’s not made of plastic like usual tarps. The color is nice. It is wonderful, our deck by the pool is nicely shaded and keeps our little ones out of the hot sun. It provides great coverage and the right amount of shade for our deck. First , I want to clarify that this product does not come with a kit. If you're expecting installation accessories, be sure to purchase them separately. I overlooked this detail when ordering, so I want to highlight it for anyone considering this shade sail. That being said, the tarp itself is excellent. It is true to size, made from heavy-duty, durable material that feels built to last. The waterproof polyester with PU coating does a great job of blocking both water and UV rays. I live in Sunny South Florida, where the sun can be intense, and the dark color helps significantly in reducing heat and glare, making my outdoor space much more comfortable. With the prolonged winter in the mid-Atlantic, it finally got warm enough to install this. This is an extremely well-made and equipped sail. The material looks really good, and it is substantial, fairly heavy grade. The material is porous, so don't look for this to resist rain. All the hardware is provided. You don't have to go to the hardware store for anything. The ratcheting winches were easy to install and they do the job. The mounting rings on the sail and the edge wire reinforcements are solid and look like they will hold up under the stress of wind that the sail will undoubtedly need to endure. We love this so far!. Useful product. I like the grommets all the way around for secured tie-down. Bought the 10x10 to update an older shade frame that lost its previous canopy from a winter storm.
