I can’t wait to get these tiles out on my back deck! Before I can’t set them up, I’ll need to level the concrete and the weather just hasn’t been cooperating yet. These tiles look beautiful and I love that they are made of real wood. I love the pattern and color. They snap together easily but the plastic on the back does seem surprisingly flimsy. I really hope they hold up, long term. I’m also a little bummed that so few come in an order. I was hoping to cover a larger space and can’t imagine this is enough for any kind of space. This decking is really nice! It is perfect in the rain as it has almost like a sandy texture to it rather than a slippery trex kind of feel. The only reason I rated 4 instead of 5 stars is because on one of the pieces, the board was misaligned so it blocked the connection points. This is not a total deal breaker because I only ran in to one of these such affected pieces and easily just spun it into a different orientation to make that piece an ‘outside’ edge piece. We have a brick patio that during summer gets very hot for bare feet so we found these deck tiles hoping they would help. These arrived quickly after order and were very easy to put together with the interlocking snap together grooves. The underside is plastic and the top layer is a thin cedar wood stained. The stain is not sealed so it has a grainy or sandy feel under bare feet but it says they are waterproof so if it rains you don't have to bring the tiles inside and since they are cedar wood there wont be any slipping on the wet surface . A very nice addition to your patio or yard for the summer and they don't have to only be for a decking. They are nice enough to make a small walkway or pavers in a garden area too. My outside light is not working. I will re-take a picture tomorrow morning in the daylight. I was not sure what to expect with these outdoor tiles. I love them. They are so well made and so easy to put together and more importantly very easy to take apart and move, I wasn’t paying attention and had put some the wrong way. They arrived in a very damaged box but the product was perfect! So excited to get more and breathe some new life back into the old ugly concrete pad.
