I waited for the Memorial Day Sale and got it at a great price! Shipping was fast. It said three boxes but box two was inside box one. I was able to lay out all of the pieces and everything was labeled very clearly. I worked on one step each night and with the exception of the steps that required two people I was ably to assemble this alone in a week. The only slow part was the roof panels have a plastic on BOTH sides that has to be removed. This took a little over four hours but it came of clean and easy (the metal is sharp). This is a fabulous addition for a cover on our side porch. It was a challenge to put it together, but We completed the task in a day with just 2 people. The gazebo looks nice once finished . It was not too difficult to assemble even though the instructions are quiet rough . We did it with just my husband and I. The worst part is the roof pieces have a film that has to be removed and that took up the most of our time. It was brutal . Maybe 4 hours to remove . Well as much as I love this gazebo I wanted to be transparent on how many pieces this thing actually is. Took about two hours to unbox and unwrap the entire thing. I will say it was thoroughly packages which I really appreciate but every single thing was wrapped individually. We have a previous gazebo from wayfair that was a little smaller in size but took us about 3 hours total to put it together. We are on day 4 and still do not have it up completely. I do love it and how its looking and will post the finished once its all up but I recommend making sure you have enough hands to help or you prepare the prep of opening everything first. This took two people almost 8 hours to put together. The directions are fairly clear however it is recommended to read the directions entirely or at least 3 steps ahead before each step. The hardware is not magnetic, with an application like this that is something that is almost necessary. The DD (most commonly used) screw heads were mostly faulty and stripped very easily. Time was added to assembly because of faulty hardware issues. There are three phases, after the first phase it does become a little quicker. The first phase is the frame and takes some engineering. DO NOT TIGHTEN THE BOLTS until the end of each step. I chose this item for a carport as shown in the photos. It is recommended to use three people although it will not reduce the amount of time that it took to put it together but will make it easier when putting the 2 ends together will the top rails. The end product is very nice, maybe allow 2 days to complete with less frustration and make sure you have some shade. also, wait to unwrap the panels until installing them - they scratch very easily and can bend out of shape if not handled correctly. Better than expected. Seems to be well made. I hired a construction guy/friend to assemble it. He brought two employees, and it took a day and a half to assemble. I have only had it up for a month, and it hasn't been through any harsh weather. I will report if it becomes an issue. It looks great, and all of our Wayfair furniture fits under it and around our gas firepit. Nice addition. It is a good value. Yes, it is expensive, but the quality is good. This is a beautiful gazebo. The instructions are in pictures so if you need words for direction you are out of luck. It took my husband and I a total of 24 hours to put it together and he is a mechanic. The total time was partially because of our unusual placement in which the gazebo extends further than our patio space. Also, we secured the front posts in an unconventional manner by placing them in large pots which were then filled with heavy materials. There are what seems like millions of screws and other pieces. There were quite a few "disagreements" while assembling this item which was entertaining for the neighbors. We both agreed that if anyone ever asks us to help them build a gazebo we will politely decline. All parts were present but we made sure of this prior to starting the build. There were a few times that we could have used the help of another person when building the frame but stepladders helped immensely.
