This trash can is 4 years old and still works like new. It doesn’t eat a lot of batteries (I have replaced them 3 times in 4 years). I wish it had a plug, but it is not a big issue. Yes, this pricey but it’s an awesome trash can. Was packaged well so dings. Easy to open. Holds the trash bag well. They do include their special trash bags and they are hefty and well made.
