It’s a lot of parts and hours of work to assemble, need multiple people to complete. It’s not exactly 12x16, more like 11x15. It will look really good when I get to finish assembly. I took a while to write this because it took us six months to find a contractor to put it together! Everyone is busy during peak contractor season. The finished product is amazing. It's a great deal and an amazing shed with lots of storage. Very stylish. I think our contractor had to buy paint, roof shingles and a couple of extra pieces of plywood. I will give you the breakdown, it took a licensed builder a full week to put it together but it's done right. Just to let you know if you are a DIY it will probably take three times that. WORTH IT. I love this pergola! I had been debating one for years and finally found one with all the features I wanted. We dont have any trees so theres no natural covering, and the backyard gets blasted with sun during the day. This pergola is perfect for manually adjusting the 4 different sections of louvers for the amount of sun wanted. We havent used the curtains or netting yet but I love having the option when needed. We paid for assembly which occurred over 3 days and 3 different crews. Caution- I dont recommend using the included anchors for anchoring to your base, unless your base is absolutely perfectly level. Our base is brick pavers so those anchors didnt work. They had to use tapcons (concrete screws). The pergola has been a perfect addition to our backyard!. Diane. Sterling Heights, MI. I bought this canopy for my autistic daughter wanting to build her own space to be comfortable and are very pleased my daughter has a lot of sensitivity to heat and the sun ,this was an amazing buy it keeps her cool and not overheated the double roof helps a lot I will be purchasing another one for the other side of my outdoor space. This is a great pergola for the price! It was a lot to put together. One of the pieces got dented in the set up process but it’s minor. The louvred top is easy to adjust. Just purchased a lake front lot wanted a gazebo for entertaining. Looked at lots of options and settled on this one because it fit in with the nature of the lot and the cedar framing was such a nice feature. It took 3 weekends to assemble but my husband and I really enjoyed the process. Directions were sufficient for a couple of amateur’s. We have received so many compliments on it.
