I ordered this in white to match a baker’s rack that I also ordered from Wayfair, and I’m very happy with it. I have an outdated kitchen with minuscule space for kitchen prep, and while the island top isn’t as big as I’d like it to be, it definitely adds some much-needed prep space, along with a ton of storage, including drawers and cabinets. It’s incredibly heavy, sturdy and functional. I wasn’t crazy about the silver hardware, so I did switch out the knobs snd pulls to better match the hardware in the rest of my kitchen. The island arrived in perfect condition. I uncrated it in the garage at let it stay there to air out for a few days because it smelled freshly painted. It is just what I was looking for. There is plenty of storage between the two drawers and the bottom cabinet. The butcher block top looks great against the European Gray cabinet. I did change the knobs to match the ones on my kitchen cabinet. The piece is very sturdy...and it is made in the USA! Compared with another kitchen island, this kitchen set comes with 2 dining stools which makes it more functional. It will become a dining table set easily if owning a small dining room. The thicker seating board, sturdy iron frame, and footrests under the top also provide exceptional comfort.

This is a great product. It’s wasn’t difficult to put together but it took a long time due to so many pieces. It took about 5.5 hours to assemble for one person but I think would be quicker and easier with 2 people. I gave it four stars because the trash bin drawer is a little shaky so we added L brackets to give a little more stability to the drawer. Overall I think this was a great purchase.. Sandra. The quality is as it should be for the price point. The reason for a 4-star rating is I have not really started using it but it appears it is going to serve the purpose for which I intended…more counter space, room for my granddaughters to join me in craft-making, and not overly big..
