This sculpture looks nothing like the picture in terms of the color. So the description should be more reflective of that. However, I absolutely love the fact that it is a lighter wood color instead, and it goes much more seamlessly with my decor. So as you can see, it’s a much lighter oak type of color Whereas in the picture it looks like it’s a darker wood tone almost like a cognac or caramel color in my opinion. So it worked out in my favor, and I imagined for those who might want a darker color, they could probably stain it pretty easily. This 9 piece natural wood wall art set is very high quality. The wood is solid, has some weight to it, and is a warm medium toned. They do give off a strong chemical smell perhaps from the wood stain. I let them air out for a few days but they still have some of the smell lingering which is why I deducted one star. Each individual piece has two wall hooks on the back to hang the pieces. They also came with screws and anchors but a few of mine were missing as the box was damaged.
