It took us several hours to finish putting it together mostly because we don't often construct things. The first pieces were difficult because we had to be on our knees to screw it together, after that all was well. Small tools included. When you get to the part where you attach an inner ring to the outer legs, we used the large box it came in to hold it in place by placing it under the metal pieces- which balanced it and held it in place while you screw in place.. In person, this table is even nicer than I imagined. We loved the unique color combination. Definitely more grey than blue as annother byer indicated. But, we were ready for that. Its hard to find a dining table of a narrower width like this one. This feature made our table the perfect match for our space. I took off a star because I feel the table top has a bit of a wobble. Had this dining set for couple weeks and we are happy with the purchase. The delivery was supposed to take 5-6 weeks, but took about 3 weeks. We had free white glove delivery - that was very helpful. Two guys put together in an hour and did a great job. Happy with the table color (white linen) that matches our kitchen and baby blue color of chairs completes our French country style kitchen. Took our chance on this set since there was only one review and happy with the choice.
