This range hood is high quality. I bought a cheaper version a few years ago for my old house. I liked it, but now that I have this I can see where the cheaper one was lacking. This range hood is thicker steel that wont dent as easily. The oil tray is steel, the baffle filters feel commercial grade, the large duct size really moves a lot of air. I am glad I spent the money. Its loud but quieter than the old one. Relatively quiet for the amount of air it moves. The instructions are good, mounting is easy and secure. This took quite some time to put together but the pieces are nicely labeled and it is an easy project. It is moderately sturdy- better than most mdf pieces I have put together and I found the piece to be of good value. The dresser is a little lower than a normal dresser.
