Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. I wanted to wait a few weeks to really test it out. So far I have done steak, salmon, sausages and even got the rotisserie kit to do whole chickens. Everything has turned out perfectly so far. Assembly and setup was easy and took me less than an hour, nothing has stuck to the grates, the meat probe is a really nice feature along with the window on the hood, I dont like having to open a grill or smoker more than I have to so the temp can stay consistent. I was very apprehensive about ordering a grill online without seeing it in person, but none of the stores around me had Momentum and the ones they did have had way less features at a higher price point and didn't look very impressive, but I am very impressed with this grill and shipping was very fast!. Best pan, bought to get away from non stick dangerous chemicals, only caveat is you need to heat the pan for about 3 minutes first so food won’t stick, however it gives time to chop food or bring out your ingredients.
