Being a foldable ping pong table also means that one side can be placed in the up position to act as a backboard for practice and solo play. Another feature of the game table is that the net can stay in place when stored and is always ready for play to start when the table is unfolded. So no screwing on the ping pong net and posts or worrying about lost pieces. Another subtle element is the ping pong ball and racket set storage on each side of the table. As a 22mm ping pong table, the Madeira can handle the toughest of rooms including the man cave, kids' game room, bar game area, arcade, or the old-fashioned basement next to the pool table.

This is such a beautiful, well-made table. It was a little more than we wanted to spend but worth it. The table is rock solid and heavy. It folds up easily and doesn't require you to remove the net. It's easy to put together, but it does take time (3-4 hours). You'll need help with a few final steps when setting and securing each top piece.
