Great pergola and easy assembly, but with a couple of issues We really like this pergola, and the whole family is thoroughly enjoying the shade it provides on our deck. It was quite easy to assemble (we only needed two people for the posts and main beams) and I was able to do the rest by myself. However, there are a couple of things worth pointing out. As shown in the photos, some of the holes on the beams were not pre-drilled, which made installation a bit more difficult. Additionally, the hook used to move the louvers arrived with rust spots and a poor finish, which is disappointing for a brand-new item. Due to a lack of time, I wasn't able to contact customer service to make a claim. Overall, it's a good product, but quality control could definitely be better.. Victor . Utah. Sat Jul 25 2026

I have nothing negative to say about this except that it is a foot shorter than most of the other pergola I was looking at. Its fine because none of us are 7 feet tall but the other ones are all around 8 feet tall like a ceiling. This ones only 7 feet tall. Other than that its very sturdy. My husband and I actually put it together by ourselves and we use the boys, our teenage sons, a couple times to help lift it and move it I would say overall it was pretty easy to put together just ted. Nice looking and sturdy gazebo. Took me about 7 hours with no help, but 2 ladders came in handy. Wood seems soft and marks or dents easy. I was nervous at first, because the photos show the posts and headers as multiple pieces. However, we have had it standing in our deck for a few months now, and it holds up very well to rain and strong winds. It sagged in the middle at first, but when screwed in place to the deck, the header straightens right up. The brackets are heavy duty metal, fastened through pre-drilled holes in the treated wood. Im looking forward to seeing how it does this winter in the snow.. Erin. Amherst, NY. Tue Jul 07 2026

Love this product! Didn’t give it a 5 because a piece was missing. We did eventually get it but was a bit of a headache. Also I feel because we self built it I notice the little things about it more then if we would have paid someone to build it. Did take 2 people and a number of days to build due to our schedule but overall wasn’t too complicated if you want to build it yourself. Love the lights and that you can open and close it.. Lindsay.
