The Prehung doors took quite a bit to get them up and fitted and screwed in. But they're in and they look good. The prehung part is not a solid frame, but pieces that have to be assembled, screwed together and mounted. We got it done and did 3 doors. It's nice having doors when company comes. Our door came without any defects. Painting it with the glass film on, and then trimming it away with an x-axto knife was a breeze and very satisfying. These doors were perfect. Packaged SO well and good quality. They are very heavy and feel solid. However the description says solid wood… they definitely are not. When I notched out the hinges it appeared to have an mdf core, at least where the hinges go. But that doesn’t bother me. They feel solid and heavy! Wow! This is a great door, very solid and HEAVY! I wasn’t sure if we could use it as a barn door but it came out amazing. It was already primed so we just painted it white. Got this for our new half bath my husband put in our basement so he had to cut some of the bottom off to make it fit vertically but it came out great and looks amazing as a barn door.
