I purchased a 10 foot and an 8‘ x 10 pergola. We put them side-by-side and we have created a beautiful area which will be a setting area and a hot tub area. The directions were a little complicated, but we got everything done without a problem. We built the big one on Saturday and the one on Sunday. The second was a breeze after building the first one. My husband and I did it alone. And everything worked out great.. Pam. Acampo, CA. Fri Jun 26 2026

This was perfect for us and just what we were looking to add to our back porch on a tight budget. Took about 10 hours for us to complete with two people taking our time. Love that the kit includes extra hardware, so no worries if you drop and lose a screw, washer or small part. We attached it to our fascia but made sure to find the roof beams to screw into. it feels very solid once assembled and secured to the concrete footing, it doesn't shake or move at all. Couple of things to improve on or be aware of: 1. Some of the holes on the roof don't align when assembling, so we had to tap some additional holes, at the corners of the tin sheets you are trying to line up 5 holes. 2. Instructions were sufficient, but could certainly be more detailed, with larger/zoomed in images of how things line up...just more instructions and images would have been helpful. 3. be careful when assembling the cross beams of the roof, the screws tie into rivet nuts which can loose their grip if forced or too over tightened. Tip: apply a sealant over the screws on roof as you assemble the roof, we did not and it definitely leaked at the screws even with the plastic washers, so we have had to go back and apply a sealant around roof screws, wish we had done that as we assembled the roof. Also seal existing unused holes if you need to new holes in case they don't line up.. Robwells. Celina, Texas, United States. Wed Apr 15 2026

So…I was super excited to get this - and I do love the amount of shade it provides outside of our unit behind our home. Initially, we put it up against our house, but it’s not an exact fit for our back deck, so we moved it to the extended portion of our lot, where we have a couple of buildings; I like it much better out there. My husband put it together, and did say that it is labor intensive, and even more so if you jump in without reading the instructions first - so he highly recommended reading the instructions before getting started. Also; you definitely want to secure it to a building or something - it is heavy enough, but probably not so heavy that a hard windstorm might not send it packing. We have ours mounted, so no worries. We both love the look of it. It is sleek, and good for the price.. Kathryn. Whiteville, NC. Wed Jan 21 2026

Bought this to add to our back patio for shade and shelter from the rain. Had to cut the back legs down and drill new holes for the mounting brackets so it would fit underneath my soffit on my house. Easy to install and looks great for the money! Really sturdy once legs and anchored down to the slab and attached to wall of the house. Sean. Southeast Georgia. Mon Oct 05 2026

Turned out nice. Had this professionally installed and mounted the post in concrete blocks to give more stability. The metal pieces itself is lightweight aluminum but when connected together it’s sturdy. Only gripe are the shade connector poles. Their means of connecting could be improved because they slide off & disconnect from one another every now & then but so far holds up well with rain when shade is pulled back. Haven’t experienced any serious windy conditions yet to speak on so we’ll see. So far overall all good.. Bryant. Miami, FL. Wed May 31 2023

I had installers handle the installation and other than some challenges with drilling it into my cement pad, it seemed to go fine. It certainly looks nice, however, there is no way to affix mosquito netting/screen to it due to the width/square shape of the rim around the top edge. Also, the first time it rained after it was installed, it bled brown onto my cement pad. That did come up when I had it power washed.. Lisamarie. Rockville, MD. Sat May 09 2026

I always wanted one of these. It’s sturdier than I thought which is great. It came in two different boxes. Well packed. It gave a list of items in each box to make sure everything was which is great. It came together very easily. I would recommend four people, especially when you are lifting and putting on the bottom parts of the legs and putting it into place you really need four people. I wish there was a sixth pole in the middle like the front in the back to help support that back half which being attached to the house it doesn’t really matter, but we’re not attaching it ours to our house, we’re gonna put some extra support beams on each side and going across to support and raise it up into place where we wanted to go and that should give it some extra support, but overall it came together very easily. It says don’t tighten up the screws totally which please listen to directions and then go back and tighten after things are together. It works so much better. I love this. It’s gonna be great for the dog when it rains or a hot night. We could sit out here and still enjoy our porch. I would definitely recommend this patio cover gazebo.. Tammy. Midland, MI. I have a very small patio and it gets so much sun I rarely use it. This was a good solution. I did add curtains (with velcro tabs) and some lights. Theres ONE tricky part when assembling, the part where the legs go into the frame have a slight slant, if theyre not in the correct corners, the legs go every which way! I had to take apart and move them, but wasnt bad. Would definitely help if you had 2 people to lift it and move it, but I managed on my own. Awkwardly.. Tracy. US. Sun Jul 26 2026
