It’s really nice! Got a professional to put it together and it took a long time and some extra tools from the hardware store to get it the way we wanted it. I was nervous at first, because the photos show the posts and headers as multiple pieces. Solid construction. Not quite like the picture. Screws are black, not gold, roof panel does not look exactly like picture either. Put together by myself in about 13 hours, from unboxing to last screw, not extremely handy but a decent DIY'er. I did needed about 10 minutes of help from my wife to align the brace supports from the posts to the frame. The most annoying part was taking all the plastic off the metal roof panels (Tip: Don't try to do this if the panels are too cold or too hot, you will be tearing off small pieces). Out of all the material I would say the roofing panels look good but are very thin, the framing structure is quite sturdy to brace the panels but wouldn't want much snow to build up on it, as I can see the panels sagging under the weight.. At first I was super upset when I got my packages. They were not handled as written on the box and had several puncture marks on them. I realize this isn’t a fault of Wayfair but they should be aware of the condition of packaging. All of my packages were delivered standing upright instead of flat. Despite a piece of wood being bent and the roof tin having a few dents it still went to together just fine. I did it myself, female. It took me 3 total days. Half a day to organize things and almost 2 12 to build it. No regrets at all. Just pay CLOSE attention to directions as you go so you don’t have to go back and fix anything. I made sure I wouldn’t have to. Good luck! No leaks or anything so far. Will have to be cautious in winter as ice will probably slide right off. Overall very happy with the results!. Jill. Kentucky. We are very happy with this gazebo! It looks fantastic once assembled and feels sturdy and well-built. The instructions were clear, easy to follow, and all of the parts were labeled, which made the process much smoother. It took two adults about 10 hours to complete at a steady pace. We did have a couple of hidden dents on some of the roof panels and a post, likely caused by rough handling during shipping, but fortunately they weren’t noticeable once installed. Gorgeous once it is up but it was a total pain to get the roof panels installed. The instructions were not the most helpful when you get to the roof panel, there are little black clips that per the instruction only need to be used when putting up the smaller roof panels but they are needed to hold the larger panels as they are slid in. Based on reviews and cost was the reason we went with this gazebo. It fits our space and the fact it has a metal roof was a great selling point. Our previous canopy had a canvas top which needed replaced every year. I did most of the install myself. I had very little help which was even necessary. It took me four days, so I went slow and steady. The picture only instructions were really pretty good. All the parts were there and all the holes lined up. Which brings me to building of the gazebo. I left all major screws and bolts that attached the horizontal rails to the legs loose. One of the issues mentioned in reviews was being able to make this thing “square.” I’m handy, but square can be tough at times. By leaving screws and bolts loose, it allowed me to make the necessary adjustments when installing the roof panels. Once all the roof panels were installed, I tightened up all the screws and bolts. I purchased a 10 foot and an 8‘ x 10 pergola. We put them side-by-side and we have created a beautiful area which will be a setting area and a hot tub area. The directions were a little complicated, but we got everything done without a problem. We built the big one on Saturday and the one on Sunday. The second was a breeze after building the first one.
