Solid construction. Not quite like the picture. Screws are black, not gold, roof panel does not look exactly like picture either. Put together by myself in about 13 hours, from unboxing to last screw, not extremely handy but a decent DIY'er. I did needed about 10 minutes of help from my wife to align the brace supports from the posts to the frame. The most annoying part was taking all the plastic off the metal roof panels (Tip: Don't try to do this if the panels are too cold or too hot, you will be tearing off small pieces). Out of all the material I would say the roofing panels look good but are very thin, the framing structure is quite sturdy to brace the panels but wouldn't want much snow to build up on it, as I can see the panels sagging under the weight.. Arrived incredibly fast! It was really easy to put together. It took me about 2 hours to assemble the base by myself, and then my daughter and nephew helped with the top. That part took a little longer (thanks to a few snack and break interruptions ), but the total active assembly time was about 6 to 6½ hours. It’s already held up through some heavy rain and high winds here in the Chicago area—and that was before we even anchored it to the concrete. So far, I’m absolutely loving it. Based on reviews and cost was the reason we went with this gazebo. It fits our space and the fact it has a metal roof was a great selling point. Our previous canopy had a canvas top which needed replaced every year. I did most of the install myself. I had very little help which was even necessary. It took me four days, so I went slow and steady. The picture only instructions were really pretty good. All the parts were there and all the holes lined up. Which brings me to building of the gazebo. I left all major screws and bolts that attached the horizontal rails to the legs loose. One of the issues mentioned in reviews was being able to make this thing “square.” I’m handy, but square can be tough at times. By leaving screws and bolts loose, it allowed me to make the necessary adjustments when installing the roof panels. Once all the roof panels were installed, I tightened up all the screws and bolts. Gorgeous once it is up but it was a total pain to get the roof panels installed. The instructions were not the most helpful when you get to the roof panel, there are little black clips that per the instruction only need to be used when putting up the smaller roof panels but they are needed to hold the larger panels as they are slid in. We are extremely pleased with the quality of this gazebo. Assembly was straightforward, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The only complication was that we already had our hot tub in place, so we had to build the structure around it. That added some extra difficulty, but it was due to our setup and not the product itself. Honestly, the most challenging part of the entire process was removing the protective plastic film from both sides of the roof panels. The included gloves were a thoughtful addition and helped protect our hands from the sharp metal edges during assembly. The finished result looks fantastic and has been a great addition to our backyard. At this point, we are not using the included mosquito mesh curtains or privacy curtains, but we appreciate having the option. One feature we really like is the vented roof design. The mesh vent at the top allows air to circulate while still providing plenty of shade. It helps keep us cool and comfortable during the summer, making the space around the hot tub much more enjoyable. There were two roof panels with dents when the product arrived. Fortunately, we were able to position those panels facing the house, making the damage virtually unnoticeable. While not ideal, it did not affect the overall appearance or functionality. Overall, we are incredibly happy with this purchase and would absolutely buy it again. The Gazebo arrived in almost perfect condition. There was some minor dents on the edge of the roof pieces but once put together they were completely hidden. The quality was very nice. Plenty of supples were provided . My husband and I put it together over 3 days. Each piece of the roof is protected with a coating that needs to be removed. This alone took quite a bit of time but the metal was protected. I would recommend a couple of extra people to assist to make the construction so much easier! Based on reviews and cost was the reason we went with this gazebo. It fits our space and the fact it has a metal roof was a great selling point. Our previous canopy had a canvas top which needed replaced every year. I did most of the install myself. I had very little help which was even necessary. It took me four days, so I went slow and steady. The picture only instructions were really pretty good. All the parts were there and all the holes lined up. Which brings me to building of the gazebo. I left all major screws and bolts that attached the horizontal rails to the legs loose. One of the issues mentioned in reviews was being able to make this thing “square.” I’m handy, but square can be tough at times. By leaving screws and bolts loose, it allowed me to make the necessary adjustments when installing the roof panels. Once all the roof panels were installed, I tightened up all the screws and bolts.
