This is beautiful. Just be forewarned, it's a royal pain to build it by yourself (minus the times you need at least 2-3 others to lift parts while building it). Very sturdy and well made. All pieces were nicely packaged and labeled. Assembly was straight forward, and required at least two people to set in place efficiently. I wish we had known exactly what size of concrete drill bit to buy, but once anchored it has done amaizing during crazy winds and several hail storms. This took two people almost 8 hours to put together. The directions are fairly clear however it is recommended to read the directions entirely or at least 3 steps ahead before each step. The hardware is not magnetic, with an application like this that is something that is almost necessary. The DD (most commonly used) screw heads were mostly faulty and stripped very easily. Time was added to assembly because of faulty hardware issues. There are three phases, after the first phase it does become a little quicker. The first phase is the frame and takes some engineering. DO NOT TIGHTEN THE BOLTS until the end of each step. I chose this item for a carport as shown in the photos. It is recommended to use three people although it will not reduce the amount of time that it took to put it together but will make it easier when putting the 2 ends together will the top rails. The end product is very nice, maybe allow 2 days to complete with less frustration and make sure you have some shade. also, wait to unwrap the panels until installing them - they scratch very easily and can bend out of shape if not handled correctly. The quality of this "iron" gazebo is pretty disappointing. It feels like aluminum and the panels are plastic and are scratched looking put of the box. There is discoloration on one of the panels. Maybe from being in the sun? I am not sure exactly it appears whiteish on the gray panel. Not great since it is meant to be outside. Some of the parts that are metal are bent and scratched. The assembly instructions are awful as well. I have an event in a few days that I purchased this for so hopefully it will come together and not look absolutely cheap and rickety once it is fully assembled. This gazebo was the perfect addition to our 16x16 deck. The shade makes outdoor living possible at all hours of the day. The shade curtain is effective at blocking heat without totally blocking out light. The materials are high quality. My husband was able to assemble the entire thing by himself in a matter of hours. Good quality, not heavy duty but close. Instructions are difficult to decipher, take your time. I did it by myself with a little help holding things from my wife and kids. Don’t tighten boltsscrews too soon. Leave parts loose to fit and then tighten. No missing parts and no major damage from shipping. Fits BBQ, smoker and pizza oven. Snug but enough room.
