This gazebo looks amazing in our yard, and seems very sturdy after a strong thunderstorm tested it yesterday for the first time. But as several reviewers mentioned, the assembly was ROUGH! In some spots the instructions were very unclear, with images that didn't accurately represent the process at a given step. It definitely takes two people in some spots, even with more than one ladder for support while assembling. But now that it's done we really love it. So--it is correctly rated as "DIY--Experienced", and will take many more hours than the instructions say unless you have at least two tall ladders and four tall workers to help put it together. Gazebo is a lot to assemble, plan on the larger part of a day to complete with two people, a bit tricky to assemble as the instructions are not as clear as they could be but we got it done, extremely sturdy when complete plenty of room inside and looks great on our deck, i used lag screws to attack it to my deck and will only bring in the screen and cloth for winter, the roof is easily strong enough for a "light" snow load. i will clear the snow if it is more than a foot, but it is strong once assembled, very happy with the purchase.. It is very nice and more sturdy that I thought it would be. We didn’t bolt it to the deck because we didn’t want to drill into Trex. But we did bolt it to the house which worked good. Better than expected. Seems to be well made. I hired a construction guy/friend to assemble it. He brought two employees, and it took a day and a half to assemble. I have only had it up for a month, and it hasn't been through any harsh weather. I will report if it becomes an issue.
