The good: We bought the 14x10 and it is heavy duty. I haven't fixed it to my deck yet, but I doubt that would even be necessary because it's heavy and sturdy. It gets 4 stars because I'm confident it will serve its purpose for a long time. The bad: I can't give it 5 stars because assembly was difficult, even with 2 people in their 30s. It took us a total of around 10-12 hours over a few days. When assembling the large/heavy support beams, you will probably need to have some kind of supporting table or shelf to lean them on (or have a person hold a large piece while someone affixes it to another) to prevent bending. You'll also need at least one step ladder and a Phillips head screwdriver, which the description fails to mention and isn't included. The quality of this "iron" gazebo is pretty disappointing. It feels like aluminum and the panels are plastic and are scratched looking put of the box. There is discoloration on one of the panels. Maybe from being in the sun? I am not sure exactly it appears whiteish on the gray panel. Not great since it is meant to be outside. Some of the parts that are metal are bent and scratched. The assembly instructions are awful as well. I have an event in a few days that I purchased this for so hopefully it will come together and not look absolutely cheap and rickety once it is fully assembled. Nice Pergola It’s solid but a little lower than I had envisioned. The front has a shallow gutter with ends open. I’m a trying to figure out how to hang a gutter. It’s very hard to drill. This is beautiful. Just be forewarned, it's a royal pain to build it by yourself (minus the times you need at least 2-3 others to lift parts while building it). We installed this patio pergola over our concrete slab and it completely changed the feel of the backyard. The frame feels sturdy once anchored down and the size is perfect for a table and grill area. It provides just enough shade to make sitting outside comfortable while still letting in natural light, which we really like. Assembly took some time but the instructions were clear and all the parts lined up correctly. After installation it looks very clean and modern against the house — neighbors even asked where we bought it. It’s been through wind and sun already and everything still feels solid. This was surprisingly easy to construct (if you REALLY pay attention to ALL of the pictures and do it exactly the right way the 1st time; which we did not and had to take apart 3 different sections due to installing a piece/pieces in the wrong direction). The destructions (oops spelled that wrong, I meant instructions) are pictures only so be prepared for that. I recommend buying and using a rubber washer on the #3 roof screws. We did not and then had to figure out how to get back up there and put roofing tape over the screws to stop the little leaks. We also used the same roofing tape to go along the edge where this goes up against my house to keep the rain from running down between. It took me and my husband about 10 hrs to build this over 2 days. Full disclosure, we have both done some construction in our younger days, but we are both not as good as we once were. We bought 2 of these 10x12s and will be building the 2nd one next weekend. I suspect this one will go much more smoothly given the experience of building the 1st one.. Anonymous. Sat Jun 13 2026

Came quickly. 2 of the boxes came a day or two later, but it worked out great since they were the last parts needed. They came just as we needed them.
