The cabinet is metal, and while it’s not extremely sturdy when being moved — mainly because the back consists of two thin panels secured together — it feels perfectly stable once assembled and in place. This piece is very nice in its design. Each drawer has a divider that allows for about 6 pairs however boots and platform shoes don’t always fit so you must remove the divider meaning only three pairs will go in that drawer. None of the reviews addressed how the shoes fit so I figured I’d mention that. It took me about 2.5 hours to build. I did it alone. The five drawers were the most tedious but not difficult. The ONLY complaint is that like other people stated, the mirror is just a laminate. It’s not an actual plate glass. If it was it would be a thousand pounds. So I understand why they didn’t do it that way. However the reflection is not crisp but more like blurry warped? Still overall does the trick looks sleek , it’s not bulky and if recommend it.. I’m really happy with this 31.5" 5-tier rotating shoe cabinet overall. The 360° rotating design is the standout feature—it makes it super easy to access every pair without digging through stacks of shoes. It holds a surprising amount (I was able to fit close to the advertised 30 pairs), and it helps keep everything neat and organized in one spot. The cabinet itself looks clean and modern, so it blends well with my space instead of looking like typical bulky shoe storage. It’s also a great solution if you’re short on space but still have a growing shoe collection. Assembly took a little time and patience—the instructions could be clearer—but once it’s together, it feels fairly sturdy. The rotation is smooth, though I wouldn’t overload one side too much to keep it balanced. Overall, a stylish and functional storage solution with a clever design. Beautiful cabinet but I did not use for shoes. Trying to clean out husbands hang up clothes. Like many people too many clothes. Brilliant idea to fold my husband’s t-shirts, shorts sweat clothes. A regular book case didn’t work because shelves were too deep totally wrinkled them up. And there are more shelves on this shoe rack. From picture, I am even trying to hang VFW shirts on wall..
