On a whole, I like this panel. It ws very easy to assemble, and I love the look of the wood and the black metal together. My biggest issue was the fact that they sent an incorrect piece instead of one of the spacers, and it would have been way to much trouble to get them to replace it, so I had to make due on my own. Urethane faux wood shutters stay true to authentic wood by not only having a wood grain, but also by having the ability to be either gel-stained or painted. Longevity of this faux wood material is priceless, without sacrificing the real wood appearance of the shutters.

Purchased the Riverwood style. Painted them but have not installed yet. They arrived primed, but primer is tacky…sticky. I have had to put 2 heavy coats of paint on them. Still painting…waiting for paint coats to dry and not be sticky either. Only concern is the shutters are not as sturdy as I expected (why the 4 stars) and hoping during installation they will not be damaged. Durable and smooth operating, the patented sliders are made with aluminum and fitted with bearings that allow the sliders to glide across the rail. The sliders are also stacked closer together than conventional panel tracks, which reduces light bleed coming from the gaps between panels.

So far we are very pleased. We still have to cut the length but it seems pretty straight forth. The color is just what we wanted. You can leave the top track and rod as is but I think we will be adding surround of some type. They do a great job filtering light and are so much more stylish than the others we had.
